ABOUT

Miryam is a Production Designer and Art Director working across film, television, theatre and commercials.

Originally from Rome, her passion for visual storytelling began with a foundation in Fine Arts, leading her to Milan to specialise in Stage & Costume Design at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera. After gaining hands-on experience in theatre, her love for cinema inspired her to move to the UK, where she graduated with an MA in Production Design from the National Film & Television School in 2019.

In her journey through visual translation, she has developed a fascination with cinematic multiverses and the subtle power of storytelling subtext while nurturing a lasting love for the art of stop-motion animation. Deeply character-driven, Miryam is drawn to the collaborative process of filmmaking, where the exchange of creative visions inspires work that goes beyond what any individual could achieve alone. She thrives on projects where production design elevates and adds layers to each character's arc.

Now based in London and represented by Casarotto Ramsay & Associates, her versatile approach to visual media allows her to navigate both short- and long-form projects, creating immersive worlds through a distinctive creative language across styles and genres.

She also finds great joy in sharing her knowledge as a visiting tutor at the National Film & Television School.
